🪂 Why are we doing a skydive for Lee’s Place?

Lee's Place is a hot food hub located in St Peter's Square Hereford which is run by local charity Community Power. Every evening from 6.00pm-8.00pm, it opens its doors to provide free, home-cooked meals and vital support to people experiencing homelessness and has become a lifeline for many during the cost-of-living crisis.

 

It is a place where people can enjoy a hot meal, warmth and the company of others. Working with partners across the city Community Power has set up this hub which is run currently by a team of approximately 70 amazing volunteers with food sourced from donations. Its aim is to improve and help transform the lives of those who are often marginalised. Lee's Place has been in existence since January 2025, originally operating from premises in Maylord Orchards, Hereford, but has now secured a permanent home in St Peter's Square. 

 

We would appreciate any support or donations that allow Community Power to continue to provide this vital service in Herefordshire. Every pound raised through this sky dive fundraising activity helps them:

 

• Serve nutritious meals to the homeless
• Provide warm clothing and sleeping bags
• Keep a safe, welcoming space open every night
